A lively Pumpkin Soiree saw Martin.G go head and shoulders above the rest in the apple bobbing competition, a costume win by Teresa and Nigel and the usual barbecuing in the dark (thanks to ms Wilde for her sterling work on this front). It was a night that also saw Sally being judged as the pumpkin carving winner with a fine example of witch fret work and the now customary shed raffle. Thanks to all who brought goodies and helped raise money towards new boat lights along with healthy takings behind the bar. The evening ended with some star gazing from the veranda after we had earlier enjoyed the rising of a red moon. The icing on the cake was the 10 o' clock row the next morning with five boats out, nearly the whole fleet, and beautiful still water in the bay.
